:( COLONOPENBRACKET / DATA PANIK

ok kids... again, VERY limited edition 7" picture disc!!! Another split single too. This time from some friends of ours from lovely Scotland namely; :( -or 'colonopenbracket' as you would call 'em using words, because let's face it, :( is hard to actually say - hail from Aberdeen. They describe themselves as 'Str8-Bit'. one of Computerman described them as "Million Dead playing on a Sega Megadrive", but then they would. :( include amongst their influences Minor Threat, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Cindy Lauper and Atari Teenage Riot. Go figure. ANYWAY, go listen at www.myspace.com/colonopenbracket Data Panik sort of need no introduction... for they are the second coming of indie legends BIS. yes indeed.. Manda, Steven and John are back, with a rhythm section in tow. very ace they are too. www.datapanik.co.uk that'll tell you a lot more.
Like we said tho... very limited. hurry hurry hurry hurry. Official release date is April 10th, but our advice is to pre-order.. just to be safe.

Brian Wilson Wonderful / Windchimes (green vinyl)

no... you're not reading that wrong. we DID release a Brian Wilson single. we won't bore you with the details, but suffice to say we at Must Destroy somehow managed to find ourselves in the position of being the first people in the solar system to release tracks from the long-awaited 'Smile' re-recordings. holy moly. this release was a limited edition vinyl only pressing across three different coloured vinyls (green / blue / yellow), in a sexy embossed sleeve and printed plastic outer bag. mmmm.

Computerman No More Broken Hearts / Watch More Television

This is Computerman's first ever release. They are five yound men from the Nottinghamshire / Leicestershire area of the UK who - if we can resort to cheap and lazy comparisions to get the job done fast - seem to have made it their life's work to channel the synth-drenched-pop ghosts of OMD, A-Ha and Ultravox through a filter manufactured from the epic prog-psyche-pop DNA of Super Furry Animals and Mew. No More Broken Hearts / Watch More Television is available as a double A-side, neato red vinyl 7" OR as a 3 track CD single (which also includes the track No_Recover[demo]). Both formats are limited editions of 500.

Computerman Watch More Television (ROC / Slangton Remixes)

Ok kids, these are SUPER limited edition (300 copies and that's it!!). Computerman fave 'Watch More Television' remixed by Brixton's own ROC and Slangton. One side's a sort of 'indie disco' type affair, the other side's a little more weird and electro-y... both versions have the 'song' element very much still in evidence tho, so fret not... this isn't one of those 'where's the riginal song gone?' type situations. So, yeah... 300 only. which is pretty much what the 'No More Broken Hearts' single sold in its first day of release, so you can understand the urgency required if you want one of these babies. official release date is end of March-ish. but you can pre-order NOW!!

Do Me Bad Things Standards EP

Most ideas that happen in the pub usually end up staying there. Luckily, this one didn't. 4 tracks. 2 of them cover versions (New Mistake - originally by Jellyfish - and Last Night I Had A Dream by Randy Newman) and 2 of them VERY radical reworkings of DMBT 'classics' Sprezzatura and The Song Rides (we're not talking remixes or nothing here. We're talking TOTALLY re-recorded and re-interpreted). As it turned out, these were the last ever recordings by the original 9-piece line up of Do Me Bad Things. This is a limited edition of 700 hand-numbered double 7. pack. Very nice indeed.

Ghouls Aloud Halloween EP

To celebrate Halloween '05, Must Destroy held a bit of a party in London. Amongst the entertainment for the evening, was a Must Destroy 'supergroup' (Chantal, Ad Lick and Hurricane Tommy of Do Me Bad Things, James of Sludgefeast and, errr, Ian from Of Arrowe Hill) formed especially for the night. Their mission was simple, get drunk, then play the 'hits' of The Misfits really loud. By way of a souvenir, Ghouls Aloud recorded this EP at Mr Lyons. Zed One studio in North London. Everything down on tape in 3 takes or less. We pressed up 'em up on very lovely baby-pink vinyl, wrapped 'em in a hand-screenprinted / hand-numbered sleeves and sold 'em at the show. There's a bunch left, so now you lucky folks get chance to get one too. Includes three Misfits covers (Bullet, Hybrid Moments and Angelfuck) and a cover of Girls Aloud's Sound Of The Underground.

Guitar Wolf Golden Black. The Best of ...

Golden Black collects 26 tracks from the Guitar Wolf back-catalogue - many of them seeing an official European release for the first time ever - chosen entirely by the votes of fans across the world, and remastered and sequenced by the band. Compiling Guitar Wolf classics such as Jet Generation and Invader Ace alongside lesser known and unreleased tracks from the Wolf vaults, Golden Black is a fitting tribute to the sonic havoc of one of the most intense rock'n'roll bands the planet earth has ever produced.

Robert Pollard From a Compound Eye

We're proud as hell to be releasing Bob's first post-Guided By Voices solo album here in the UK / Europe. Even if these songs were the only thing Pollard had ever written, there'd still be a pretty strong case for the use of the word 'genius' that crops up whenever his name is mentioned in sensible company. As it goes, despite having one of the largest, most eclectic and thrilling back-catalogues in the history of rock music, he's still managed to come up with the goods. 26 tracks that stand up tall next to what has gone before. No mean feat. We are truly honoured.

Von Bondies Tell Me What You See

ahh... now... this was a fun one. the plot for this release was hatched by us and Jason Von Bondie one drunken night backstage in Birmingham (The Hives +The Von Bondies + The Dirtbombs... now THAT, my friends, is a line up)... he's given us a CDR of what was then a brand new song and we totally fell in love with its 'Elevators meets the Gun Club' swampy rock'n'roll raw fantasticnesss. so we asked him if we could press it onto lovely black vinyl (which is, really, the only proper way to hear music... no matter what the people who make computers tell you). he said yes. thing is, there was no other tracks at the time... but no matter, we'll make it one sided! yes folks... side B is BLANK. nothing on it at all. just thought you should be made aware of that fact in advance. Tell Me What You See was later tidied up a bunch and appears on the album 'Pawn Shoppe Heart'. these 7"s are rare as hen's teeth... but, again, we got a few here. email in advance if yr worried.
